Zagreb

Start your trip in the north in Zagreb, Croatia’s capital! Explore the modern Donji Grad (Lower Town) and the historic Gornji Grad (Upper Town) to gain a deeper understanding of Zagreb’s past and present. Plitvicka Jezera

Spend at least two days exploring Croatia’s most popular attraction, Plitvicka Jezera. This national park is breath-taking! Make sure to get there early in the morning to beat the crowds. The park is home to sixteen lakes, which are connected by a series of waterfalls and surrounded by lush green verdure. Krk

Zadar

Sibenik

A great place for setting out to explore Krka National Park, is Sibenik. Croatia’s oldest coastal city is a must see in its own right. Stroll along the winding cobbled streets, and you might recognize it from HBO’s “Game of Thrones!” Explore ancient fortresses, enjoy breathtaking sea views, and experience a more off-the-beaten-track Croatian destination that won’t be overrun by tourists.

Split

A city known for its perfect mix of ancient and modern, Split is a great place to experience Dalmatian culture. Split’s most famous attraction is Diocletian’s Palace, which visitors can freely explore. At night, the columns are lit up and actors dressed as Romans put on fantastic performances! Make sure to visit the nearby islands such as Hvar, which is just a short ferry ride away.

Dubrovnik

For your final stop on your Croatian holiday, pay a visit to “Game of Thrones” King’s Landing! Dubrovnik is the setting of this famous fictional city.
